The Department of Psychology at Swarthmore College invites applications for a two-year position as postdoctoral research fellow. The department seeks to hire an individual with experience in event-related potentials (ERP)
research to set up and maintain an ERP lab. The ideal candidate should have completed a Ph.D. with graduate work that includes training in behavioral experimental design and ERP and be interested in working on collaborative research with students and faculty in the department. Non-doctoral candidates with extensive ERP experience will also be considered for the position. Candidates with interest in working on ERP research in
psycholinguistics, developmental psycholinguistics, or perception and attention are particularly encouraged to apply, though candidates with interests in social, clinical, or other areas of psychology involving ERP research will also be actively considered. Salary is commensurate with NIH postdoctoral salary guidelines. Ideally, the candidate would be available to start in the summer of 2011.

Not to be rude, but ... it's things like this that kinda get my goat. They want to hire a POSTDOC! to "to set up and maintain an ERP lab."
